Camp Wild Wash

Our first camping trip. An adventure into the wild and barren desert. It looks like a random freeway exit to nowhere but a short drive up the hill, we find a great spot, complete with a fire pit, and we have the perfect camp site to watch a glorious sunset, have some drinks & s'mores and get away from it all!

Strawberries & Herbs

A present from my amazing BF! I had been lusting after a strawberry pot from Crate & Barrel and whining about wanting to go to Lowe's and get some strawberry plants. So this morning my BF comes in and says "I have a present for you" {goodie goodie gumdrops, i l-o-v-e presents} "Is it edible??" {a sausage, egg & cheese mcgriddle?} i love food gifts mmm "No, it's edible - later" {huh?} Anyway, here it is and let's see if I can bring them to life...it says guaranteed after all!

Fitness Fail

Picking up some items at the store for the cakeballs...this looks like a good magazine...I told the checker about this new amazing cake diet...just kidding...but maybe ;o)

Cakeballs

My daughter and I are going to make cakeballs this weekend for her friend's birthday. I was browsing around looking for decorating inspiration when I came across this AWESOME blogger who also makes cakeballs among many other yummy goodies...Bakerella...check her out. I am obsessed with baking blogs at the moment. Every cookie, cupcake, muffin is calling out "Bake Me"!! I'm going to have to amp up my fitness routine if I am going to be doing all of this fun baking & eating. My plan is to bake and give away...yeah right!
